A Message from the Director | Frances Diaz, Psy.D.

Dear UCI Students and Community,

There is a lot happening in the world around us that impact our day to day lives in many different ways. These global and domestic events, along with personal life experiences can impact a person’s academic focus, social engagement and experiences.  Please know that the Counseling Center is here to support you during these difficult times.  Please utilize the variety of resources we have from clincial services, outreach and prevention programming, and digital resources.

As we approach the holiday season we know this can also bring about a range of emotions for people, so find ways to be in community and spaces that feel supportive of your needs. Most importantly, find ways to engage in rest and healing where you can.

Frances Diaz, Psy.D. UCI Counseling Center Director
